Daniel and A- were at Prospect Park (which is a huge, open Central Park style park in Brooklyn) and they were playing Ready Set Go on a large lawn.
A- would make Daniel run, as is the game. And as they did that they’d move further and further away from the stroller. 3 times, Daniel would have to go get the stroller, which meant he had to pause Ready Set Go, which would make A- very upset.
So Daniel went up to A- and explained the situation. That they keep going away from the stroller. That he can see A- gets upset when he has to leave and stop the game. But that also Daniel wants to get the stroller because it has all their snacks and toys in it and he doesn’t want someone else taking it.
A- looked at dad. Then grabbed the stroller, moved it to dad, turned it in the direction he wanted dad to run, and nudged it forward a bit to indicate pushing it. He was telling Daniel to do ready set go WITH the stroller so that would solve the problem!
Daniel did a round of ready set go with the stroller - ran away and came back - and when he got back A- was on Pictello.
(Long time readers know a loooong time ago we made a Pictello with 20ish pages, each page saying “I am A-. I am ______” (where the blank is amazing, funny, loving, etc depending on the page). He hasn’t watched this for ages, at least months if not a year.)
When Daniel came back, A- was watching the page “I am A-. I am smart” over and over again
